Gary Journeay, BBA
I began my journey as an investment advisor after discovering my fascination with the investment realm during my time at St. Francis Xavier University. However, it wasn't just the financial aspect that drew me in; it was the opportunity to assist individuals in overcoming their financial obstacles that truly ignited my passion.
With a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years, my expertise encompasses various financial domains, such as investment and retirement planning, alongside collaborating with clients' accountants for tax strategies.
Even after three decades, my dedication to aiding others remains unwavering, and my enthusiasm for problem-solving continues to drive me forward. The cornerstone of my client interactions lies in establishing trust, understanding their aspirations, concerns, and objectives, which has fostered enduring relationships lasting over three decades.
In addition to my professional commitments, I advocate for a harmonious work-life balance. Whether engaging in a spirited game of poker with friends or embarking on a scenic hike, I prioritize activities that rejuvenate me. Furthermore, my interests extend to travel, music, and refining my culinary skills (though baking might not be my strong suit!)
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Imee Flores
I was born and raised in the Philippines, where I built a strong foundation in banking and finance over four years. Seeking broader horizons, I transitioned to a role as an administrative and marketing assistant for a realtor in Australia for six years. In 2022, I moved to Canada to further my education in international business.
After completing my studies, I joined Gary's team, where I have been actively involved in administrative tasks and assisting clients in opening and managing their accounts with Mandeville. In July 2024, I earned my license in life insurance, critical illness, and disability insurance. This has allowed me and Gary to elevate the quality of service we provide to our clients.
When I'm not working, you can find me exploring new cafes for a relaxing afternoon or spending cherished time with my nieces and nephew.
